Links and Other Info Read the Ibizan Hound Standard on the AKC website. A breed standard is a description of the perfect specimen of the breed. Interpretation of any breed standard is somewhat subjective, since many of the terms like "moderate" or "long" depend upon the reader's context. Differences in interpretation are what give various bloodlines their distinctive "looks". Visit some of our favorite Ibizan sites (in alphabetical order): Aliki Ibizans - Aliki is home to "Emma", #1 Ibizan (all-breed) and multi best-in-show winner. Our foundation bitch, Ch. Strangedays Ruffienne, is also resident at Aliki. Foxbridge Farms - Home of Rum's mother and Petie (daVinci-Aliki Ice Pistol). Friends of the Ibizan Hound and Afilador are two wonderful UK sites designed by Nick Carter. Gryphon Ibizans - Alex, Crusader and Rocky's breeder - home of generations of beautiful Ibizans. Icy Cold Ibizans - This kennel is located in (brrrr) Ontario, Canada. Check out the beautiful photos and ***available puppies***. Kamar Ibizans - This is the website of Katie Belz, one of the super younger Ibizan owner/breeders who will steward our breed through the next few decades. You'll want to visit the "Ibizans" page to see photos of her handsome "Java" and lovely "Kenzie". Nahala Sighthounds - This sight belongs to our Rocky x Rum litter's co-breeder, Alex. Alex's quick mind, excellent "eye", and love of dogs are going to take her far; she's another of the great new generation of Ibizan owner/breeders. Strangedays - One of the country's premier Ibizan kennels, and breeders of our wonderful Ruffienne, the first Ibizan female to produce two national sweepstakes winners. Tekoneva - Well-known, but new to Ibizans, this kennel has produced a lovely litter whose dam is daVinci Icing on the Cake - Jillian. This is also the kennel that imported the lovely Medea from Spain.
